Finding a cure to HIV/AIDS is arguably the most important topic of modern medicine. Doctors in Berlin are claiming to have cured a patient of AIDS by giving him transplanted blood stem cells. Many scientists and doctors are no too excited about this news, claiming many millions of people simply couldn't be treated this way, especially those in poverty-stricken African countries. Regardless, this is certainly a step in the right direction.
