Trigger Happy TV

Honestly, this show is AWESOME. Its so much better than any American hidden camera show. The ideas are so original and absolutely hilarious. My love for the show was renewed after seeing a couple of great reruns on G4 the other day.

AIDS Patient Cured?

http://www.nytimes.com/2008/11/14/health/14hiv.html

Finding a cure to HIV/AIDS is arguably the most important topic of modern medicine. Doctors in Berlin are claiming to have cured a patient of AIDS by giving him transplanted blood stem cells. Many scientists and doctors are no too excited about this news, claiming many millions of people simply couldn't be treated this way, especially those in poverty-stricken African countries. Regardless, this is certainly a step in the right direction.

http://blip.tv/file/1356143/

This documentary provides an interesting view of marijuana and the business behind it. Regardless of your stance on marijuana, this is definitly an interesting watch. Topics discussed include Canada's marijuana exports and its more open attitude towards the drug, as well as the facts surrounding industrial hemp and the fact thats its illegal in the United States.

Shameful, California

"There's something deeply wrong with putting the rights of a minority up to a majority vote," said Evan Wolfson, a gay-rights lawyer who heads a group called Freedom to Marry. "If this were being done to almost any other minority, people would see how un-American this is."

Congratulations, Mr. President

Say hello to the 44th president of the United States, Mr. Barack Obama. He will be the first biracial president, as the well as the first Hawaiian-born. He will also be the first senator turned president since JFK in 1960.
He has promised us change and hope, things that will be sure to come with his presidency.

So congratulations to Barack Obama, Joe Biden, their families, his supporters, and America.
But also, congratulations to John Mccain for making it this far, and Sarah Palin for the huge impact she made on this election and all the support she gained for herself and Mccain.

What an exciting election it has been, I can't wait to see what out future holds.
